How to Request Deletion of Your Data
To request deletion of your HandyDoers account and associated personal data:
- Email us at support@handydoers.com
- Use the subject line: “Delete My Account”
After verification, we will process your request within 7 days and confirm once your account has been deleted.
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will remove the following:
- Your name and contact details (phone number)
- Your profile photo and any uploaded ID documents
- Your login credentials and session data
What Data Will Be Retained
To maintain the integrity of the platform and preserve transaction history, HandyDoers will retain data linked to past service activity, including:
- Service requests and job history
- Reviews and ratings submitted or received
- Media submitted as part of a request
- Your name and profile photo as linked to request records
This ensures trust and transparency between users who have interacted on the platform.
Data Retention Period
Personally identifiable data will be deleted within 7 days of verifying your request. Request-related records (such as reviews and job history) will be retained indefinitely.
