HandyDoers Happiness Guarantee Policy

1. Purpose of This Guarantee
The HandyDoers Happiness Guarantee is designed to give our users peace of mind when booking services through our platform. While HandyDoers is not responsible for the actions of individual service providers, we know mistakes can happen and we are committed to helping resolve issues fairly and quickly. This Guarantee provides limited financial protection to eligible customers while preserving HandyDoers’ role as a neutral platform. The HandyDoers Happiness Guarantee is a voluntary, discretionary service policy, not a binding component of any contract with HandyDoers or service providers.
2. Scope of the Guarantee
- The provider does not show up on the date of the appointment or cancels last minute without prior notice, attempt to reschedule, or prior arrangement between the Parties;
- The service is unjustifiably not completed, or is clearly negligent, unsafe, or causes verifiable property damage;
- There is documented proof of the issue, such as photos, videos, and/or a written statement;
- The service was booked through the HandyDoers platform;
- The issue was reported within 24 hours of job completion.
3. What’s Not Covered
- Subjective dissatisfaction with quality or style when the service was materially delivered as requested
- Cosmetic imperfections or incomplete tasks without clear expectations
- Injury, fire, or major property damage resulting from the job (see Section 6)
- Services arranged outside of HandyDoers
- Incidents reported more than 24 hours after job completion
- Damage or loss due to pre-existing conditions or unrelated structural/electrical faults
- Repeated, excessive, or abusive claims
4. Claim Process
- Report the issue via Call, WhatsApp, or email within 24 hours of job completion
- Include a brief description, and all photo or video evidence
- HandyDoers will acknowledge your claim within 48 hours and provide a resolution within 5 business days
If approved, HandyDoers may offer:
- A replacement provider at no extra charge
- A partial refund
- A full refund, up to a maximum of ZMW 10,000
HandyDoers reserves the sole right to determine the resolution provided.
5. Platform Role & Liability
- HandyDoers is not liable for the acts or omissions of service providers
- HandyDoers does not provide insurance to users or providers
- This Guarantee is voluntary, discretionary, and not an admission of liability
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of use and applicable policies
- HandyDoers is not a party to the service contract between you and the provider and disclaims all liability arising from service performance, misconduct, or outcomes.
6. Damage, Injury, and Complex Work
HandyDoers does not provide insurance coverage for property damage, injury, or high-risk service outcomes. If a customer experiences serious damage or injury related to a service, we may request documentation to assess the issue.
The Guarantee does not cover these incidents. In such cases, customers may be required to contact their own home, health, or property insurance provider to resolve the matter.
While HandyDoers may assist in facilitating communication or support during an investigation, all assistance is provided as a goodwill gesture, not as an assumption of liability. Customers agree to hold HandyDoers, its officers, directors, agents, employees, affiliates and shareholders harmless from any third-party claims arising from the use of the service or platform.
7. Limitations and Exceptions
- The Guarantee is limited to one claim per job and a maximum of ZMW 10,000 per customer per year
- Customers who submit multiple or suspicious claims may be subject to review or account suspension
- Providers found to have caused legitimate claims may be removed from the platform or asked to reimburse HandyDoers
- HandyDoers reserves the right to change or cancel this Guarantee at any time, for any reason, with or without notice

It shall prevail to the extent of any inconsistencies. It is not insurance and does not replace home, property, or liability coverage. All decisions related to the Guarantee are made at HandyDoers’ sole discretion and are final.
